Lower limit for competition fines set at 167,473 liras
The lower limit for administrative fines under the Law on the Protection of Competition has been increased to 167,473 liras, based on the revaluation rate of 58.46 percent.
The "Communiqué on Increasing the Lower Limit of Administrative Fines Provided for in the First Paragraph of Article 16 of the Law on the Protection of Competition No. 4054, to be Valid Until 31/12/2024," prepared by the Competition Authority, has been published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, the lower limit for administrative fines regulated under the Law on the Protection of Competition has been increased to 167,473 liras, effective from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024, based on the revaluation rate increase of 58.46 percent.
