Maximum order value limits to be updated
Borsa Istanbul has announced that the maximum order value limits (maximum TL rule) applied to orders and quotations submitted for capital market instruments traded in the equity market will be updated.
It was noted that the order value limits have been increased from 4 million liras to 10 million liras for the 1st group, from 3 million liras to 7.5 million liras for the 2nd group, from 2 million liras to 5 million liras for the 3rd group, from 1 million liras to 2.5 million liras for the 4th group, from 0.5 million liras to 1 million liras for the 5th group, and from 0.1 million liras to 0.5 million liras for the 6th group.
In the statement, it was specified that the maximum order value limit for default queues, which is currently 1 million liras, will be updated to 2.5 million liras. It was also reported that the 3 million lira limit applied to Exchange Traded Funds, Real Estate Investment Fund Participation Shares, Venture Capital Investment Fund Participation Shares, and Real Estate Certificates has been increased to 7.5 million liras, and the 100 thousand lira limit applied to primary queues of partnerships whose shares are traded on the exchange has been increased to 500 thousand liras.
Stating that definitions regarding the specified changes have been made in the BISTECH member test environment to allow members to conduct their tests, it was announced that the changes in question will come into effect as of January 2, 2024.
