Mehmet Şimşek's message on 'permanent decline in inflation'
Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek stated, "We are reducing vulnerability by increasing international reserves. We will continue to do whatever is necessary for a permanent decline in inflation and the current account deficit."
Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek evaluated the provision of 7.5 billion dollars in external financing for project finance this year on his social media account.
Stating that they are further strengthening relations with international financial institutions, Şimşek noted the following:
"There is strong support for the program we have implemented to ensure macro-financial stability. We are reducing vulnerability by increasing international reserves. We will continue to do whatever is necessary for a permanent decline in inflation and the current account deficit."
