The stock market rose in the first half of the day.

As of 13:00, the index had increased by 77.99 points compared to the previous close. The BIST 100 index, which closed at 9,062.36 points yesterday, started the day at 9,100.27 points, up 37.91 points and 0.42 percent.

During the first half of the day, the index saw a low of 9,089.18 points and a high of 9,166.72 points.

In the first half of the day, the services index gained 1.32 percent, the financial index 0.56 percent, the industrial index 0.76 percent, and the technology index 1.54 percent.

Compared to the previous close, 66 of the stocks included in the BIST 100 index rose in the first half of the day, while 28 lost value. The most actively traded stocks were Ereğli Demir Çelik, Pegasus Hava Taşımacılığı, Türk Hava Yolları, Mia Teknoloji, and Gübre Fabrikaları.

GOLD OUNCE PRICE AT 2,034 DOLLARS

In international markets, as of 13:00, the euro/dollar parity is at 1.0850, the sterling/dollar parity is at 1.2680, and the dollar/yen parity is at 149.9.

In the Istanbul free market, the dollar is trading at 31.2240 Turkish liras, and the euro is trading at 33.8890 Turkish liras.

The ounce of gold is trading at 2,034 dollars in international markets with a 0.1 percent increase, while a barrel of London Brent crude oil is trading at 81.8 dollars with a 0.3 percent loss in value.
