Midnight hike in diesel prices: Prices rise again
The rise in the global oil market has also been reflected in fuel prices. As of midnight, the price of a liter of diesel was increased by 1 lira and 10 kuruş, while there was no change in gasoline prices.
Weakening expectations for a potential agreement between the US and Iran, along with concerns that tensions in the Middle East could escalate again, have pushed oil prices higher. This volatility in global markets has brought about a new price increase in fuel products.
Effective from midnight, the price of a liter of diesel was increased by 1 lira and 10 kuruş.
CURRENT PRICES AFTER THE HIKE
Following the hike, the price of a liter of diesel rose to 67.37 lira in Istanbul, 68.49 lira in Ankara, and 68.77 lira in Izmir. In the eastern provinces, the price per liter reached 70.22 lira.
There was no change in gasoline prices.
