Minister Işıkhan puts an end to minimum wage debates by setting a date: 'We will come together'

With only days left until July, millions of minimum wage earners had their eyes and ears on Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan. Minister Işıkhan stated that there will be no mid-year raise for the minimum wage and pointed to December for the minimum wage negotiations.

Making statements before the AKP Group Meeting in Parliament, Işıkhan responded to the question, "Will there be a raise in the minimum wage?"

Işıkhan stated that there will be no mid-year raise.

"WE WILL COME TOGETHER IN DECEMBER"

Işıkhan said, "We will come together in December for the new minimum wage." 

Minister Işıkhan also announced that there will be no welfare share provided to retirees.
