Minister Şimşek continues investment tour in France
Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek will hold one-day talks in Paris, the capital of France, today as part of his investment tours where he explains Turkey's economic policies to foreign investors.
Following his contacts in Gulf countries, the US, and the UK, Mehmet Şimşek will meet with investors in France today. As part of his one-day visit, Minister Şimşek will hold roundtable meetings with investors in Paris. Within the scope of his contacts, Şimşek will meet with Carmine Di Noia, Director of the OECD Directorate for Financial and Enterprise Affairs, and will also come together with French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire.
Şimşek, who will meet with French and German investors at a dinner hosted by the Franco-German Forum, will explain Turkey's new economic policies, the targets in the Medium-Term Program, and reform preparations to international investors during his meetings, and will invite participants to evaluate opportunities.
Minister Şimşek, while providing information about his foreign contacts in a television program he attended, stated that he plans to go to Abu Dhabi, Doha, and Riyadh within the next 1-2 weeks, and used the expressions, "We will leave no place unvisited. Because our concern is to increase direct investments to Turkey. We are also planning to go to the Far East soon."
