Minister Şimşek to attend January 11 meeting in the US online
Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek will participate online in the investor meeting held in the US on January 11, organized by the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (TCMB), due to his schedule in Ankara.
The organization of the investor meetings was undertaken by the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (TCMB).
The announcement for the meeting, which will be held on Thursday, January 11, was made to invitees with the note, "The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye invites you to a day of discussions with Turkish officials and investors." The meeting, which will feature detailed technical presentations on topics such as macroeconomics, monetary policy, financial markets, and banking, will also include extensive question-and-answer sessions.
More than 200 senior representatives from some of the world's largest investment funds, with a combined size of 50 trillion dollars, are expected to attend the meeting.
According to Bloomberg, Minister Mehmet Şimşek will not travel to the US due to his programs in Ankara. Şimşek will participate in the meetings on January 11 online.
