Ministry announces: Recall decision for a cleaning product found in almost every home!
The Ministry of Trade has taken action regarding a cleaning product determined to pose a health risk following inspections. In an announcement made via GÜBİS, it was reported that a sales ban and recall decision have been issued for a drain opener.
While inspections of cleaning products frequently used in homes continue, a notable warning has come from the Ministry of Trade.
The Ministry continues to announce products determined to pose a risk to human health through the Unsafe Product Information System (GÜBİS) following investigations. In the latest announcement, it was reported that a decision has been made to recall a drain opener product currently on the market from shelves.
According to the information provided on GÜBİS, a sales ban has been imposed on the Pratix Çzm brand drain opener, and it has been decided to withdraw the product from the market. The reason for the decision was stated as the product failing to meet packaging and safety criteria.

In the Ministry's statement, it was pointed out that the product in question poses a serious risk, especially to children. While it was emphasized that the mandatory safety measures were missing from the product, the reason for the safety concern was explained with the following statement:
'It poses a risk as it lacks a child-resistant closure mechanism and tactile danger warnings.'
Authorities warned citizens to follow the announcements made via GÜBİS and not to use the product in question.
