Ministry of Treasury and Finance refutes pro-government media! No tax amnesty

The Ministry of Treasury and Finance issued a press release today regarding reports that appeared in the pro-government media. In the announcement made by the Ministry, reports on the tgrthaber.com.tr website concerning a tax amnesty and a new restructuring package were refuted. 

The statement issued by the Ministry said, "Reports appearing in some media outlets claiming that a tax amnesty or a new restructuring package is on the agenda do not reflect the truth. Such speculative reports should not be given any credence."

The statement made by the Ministry included the following remarks: 

"The content of the reports published today on the tgrthaber.com.tr website, which also appeared in some other media outlets, regarding a 'tax amnesty' and a 'new restructuring package' is completely false. 

As the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, we have no such work underway. 

The news in question is fabricated, completely baseless, and consists of content intended to mislead the public. 

We kindly request our citizens to rely only on statements made through the official channels of our Ministry."
