Natural gas and electricity prices determined in the spot market

According to data from Energy Markets Operation Inc. (EPİAŞ), the transaction volume in the spot natural gas market yesterday was 3 million 440 thousand 219 lira. This amount was reported as 4 million 202 thousand lira the previous day.

In the spot natural gas market yesterday, the reference price for 1000 cubic meters of natural gas was 11 thousand 661 lira 76 kuruş, and the gas trade volume was 295 thousand cubic meters.

For market participants, the balancing gas purchase price was determined as 12 thousand 244 lira 85 kuruş, and the sales price as 11 thousand 78 lira 67 kuruş.

Yesterday, 170 million 805 thousand 819 cubic meters of natural gas were supplied to Turkey. The amount of natural gas supplied to the market was recorded as 170 million 838 thousand 446 cubic meters.

ELECTRICITY PRICES IN THE SPOT MARKET

In the spot market, the price for one megawatt-hour of electricity for tomorrow was determined as a maximum of 2 thousand 649 lira and a minimum of 110 lira 86 kuruş.

According to data from Energy Markets Operation Inc. (EPİAŞ), the transaction volume in the spot electricity market increased by 146 percent today compared to yesterday, reaching 984 million 458 thousand 557 lira.

In the day-ahead market, the price for one megawatt-hour of electricity for tomorrow was determined to be at its highest at 18:00 with 2 thousand 649 lira, and at its lowest at 03:00 and 04:00 with 110 lira 86 kuruş.

In the day-ahead market, the arithmetic average price for one megawatt-hour of electricity was 1549 lira 10 kuruş, and the weighted average price was 1680 lira 61 kuruş.

In the spot market, the price for one megawatt-hour of electricity was recorded today as a maximum of 1988 lira and a minimum of 102 lira 26 kuruş.
