Natural gas and electricity prices determined in the spot market

According to data from Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST), the transaction volume in the spot natural gas market was 14 million 363 thousand 253 liras yesterday. This amount was reported as 13 million 151 thousand 881 liras the previous day.

In the spot natural gas market, the reference price for 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas was 11,658 liras and 48 kurus yesterday, while the gas trade volume was 1 million 232 thousand cubic meters.

For market participants, the balancing gas purchase price was set at 12,241 liras and 40 kurus, and the sales price was set at 11,075 liras and 56 kurus.

A total of 215 million 743 thousand 128 cubic meters of natural gas was supplied to Turkey yesterday. The amount of natural gas offered to the market was recorded as 216 million 335 thousand 169 cubic meters.

ELECTRICITY PRICES IN THE SPOT MARKET

In the spot market, the price for one megawatt-hour of electricity for tomorrow was set at a maximum of 2,700 liras and a minimum of 900 liras.

According to Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data, the transaction volume in the spot electricity market increased by 30.9 percent today compared to yesterday, reaching 1 billion 412 million 555 thousand 6 liras.

In the day-ahead market, the price for one megawatt-hour of electricity for tomorrow was determined to be at its highest at 2,700 liras at 18:00, and at its lowest at 900 liras at 04:00 and 05:00.

In the day-ahead market, the arithmetic average price for one megawatt-hour of electricity was 2,032 liras, and the weighted average price was 2,072 liras and 43 kurus.

In the spot market, the price for one megawatt-hour of electricity was recorded today at a maximum of 2,700 liras and a minimum of 1,247 liras and 99 kurus.
