Natural gas and electricity prices in the spot market

According to data from Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST), the transaction volume in the spot natural gas market yesterday was 5 million 500 thousand 668 liras. This amount was announced as 17 million 725 thousand 643 kuruş the previous day.

In the spot natural gas market yesterday, the reference price for 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas was 11,435 liras and 90 kuruş, while the gas trade volume was 481 thousand cubic meters.

For market participants, the balancing gas purchase price was determined as 12,007 liras and 70 kuruş, and the sales price as 10,864 liras and 11 kuruş.

Yesterday, 227 million 937 thousand 206 cubic meters of natural gas were supplied to Turkey. The amount of natural gas supplied to the market was recorded as 229 million 329 thousand 959 cubic meters.

ELECTRICITY PRICES IN THE SPOT MARKET

In the spot market, the price for one megawatt-hour of electricity for tomorrow was determined as a maximum of 2,700 liras and a minimum of 1,000 liras.

According to data from Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST), the transaction volume in the spot electricity market increased by 0.8 percent today compared to yesterday, reaching 1 billion 298 million 681 thousand 317 liras.

In the day-ahead market, the price for one megawatt-hour of electricity for tomorrow was set at a maximum of 2,700 liras at 17:00 and a minimum of 1,000 liras at 04:00.

In the day-ahead market, the arithmetic average price for one megawatt-hour of electricity was 1,952 liras and 94 kuruş, and the weighted average price was 2,020 liras and 4 kuruş.

In the spot market, the price for one megawatt-hour of electricity today was recorded as a maximum of 2,690 liras and a minimum of 1,497 liras and 97 kuruş.
