New system goes live on the stock exchange
Changes regarding price ticks and maximum quotation spread intervals in the Equity Market, as well as the implementation of an Opening Session for exchange-traded funds (ETFs), as decided by the Borsa Istanbul Equity Market Operations Directorate, have gone into effect today.
In a statement from Borsa Istanbul, it was noted: "Certain changes have been made to the price ticks that must be followed during transactions of capital market instruments traded in the Equity Market, the maximum quotation spread intervals to which market makers are subject when entering quotations, and the session flow in which exchange-traded funds are traded. Accordingly, the price tick application valid for the trading sequences of shares, new share acquisition rights, real estate certificates, ownership-based lease certificates, exchange-traded funds, real estate investment funds, and venture capital investment funds has been reorganized."
According to the statement, the new price tick application valid during trading is as follows:
