Number of investors in the stock market on the rise
The number of equity investors has started to rise again.
According to the Central Securities Depository (MKK), the number of equity investors has shown an increase again in the past week following a one-week decline.
Based on the investor and account figures announced by the MKK, the number of equity investors increased by 260 thousand 587 people in the week ending October 13. Thus, the number of equity investors rose from 7 million 609 thousand 476 to 7 million 870 thousand 63.
In the same week, the value of equity stocks declined from 11.34 trillion TL to 10.9 trillion TL.
