Oktay Yaman: They take social welfare money from the German state and use it for vacations

Journalist Oktay Yaman investigated what some Turkish citizens do with the social welfare money they receive from Germany. The results were not encouraging at all. Yaman expressed his reaction to the findings he documented on his social media account.

Here are the results of some investigations conducted into those who receive social welfare payments from the German state and take unauthorized vacations abroad, those who work illegally and evade taxes, and those who have houses/land/rental income/Euro accounts in a foreign country and hide these from the state:

-93 people sentenced to prison

-4192 people received heavy fines

-17892 people had all their benefits cut off

-39622 people were referred to the public prosecutor's office as a result of financial investigations

-82269 people were required to pay back the money they received with interest

-9.1 million data points were cross-examined with the pension fund, and those working illegally were identified in this way

-In the last 4 years, 165971 people were penalized for defrauding the state.

Take money from the state for everything including your rent, work illegally and take cash from the employer, hide it from the state, evade taxes, and then spout rhetoric about the homeland/nation. Some even justify this by saying 'this is a dar-ul harp (land of war)'! Morality, morality!

This is why some Turkish citizens are uneasy and react to such news.

As I said, this is just the beginning.

Responding to the "Where is your proof?" questions from his followers by showing the official documents he reached as a result of his research, Yaman continued his words as follows:

Those who know me know that I am a journalist of exactly 20 years, and an academic who has also been providing scientific consultancy for the last 7 years. I do not write anything or express an opinion without researching and documenting it.

Complaints are made as follows: You go to the tax office (Finanzamt) of the state where you reside and submit your petition along with your documents. You also apply to the customs office (Zollamt) and present the situation in the same way.
