One of tourism's most important destinations put up for sale
Babylon Town Hotel, located in Olympos, one of the key destinations for tourism, is being put up for sale via tender with an estimated value of 116 million TL, including its real estate and all equipment.
The sales process has begun for the hotel in the Kumluca district of Antalya, which belongs to Babylon Town Turizm Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ and is currently under the trusteeship of the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF). The facility, located in Yazır Neighborhood—known for the natural beauty and unique architecture of Olympos—will be offered to investors as a package, including its real estate and all on-site fixtures.
The TMSF will hold the tender for the hotel on May 21, 2026, at the institution's headquarters in the Şişli district of Istanbul. In the tender, which will use the open bid and auction method, the main hotel building on plot 107 of block 106, along with additional real estate located on plot 110 in the same block, are included in the sale.
In the sales announcement, the total estimated value of the hotel and its annexes was set at 116 million TL plus VAT. Prerequisites for those wishing to participate in the tender have also been announced: Investors will be required to deposit 5 million 800 thousand TL in cash as a temporary guarantee. Other guarantee options will not be accepted.
The sales package includes not only the hotel building but also the machinery, equipment, and all fixtures inside. According to the terms, all VAT, taxes, fees, and other legal expenses that may arise during the transfer and sales process will be the responsibility of the new buyer.
