The price of a kilogram of standard gold, which saw a low of 2 million 400 thousand liras and a high of 2 million 450 thousand liras during the day, finished the day with a 0.3 percent decline at 2 million 432 thousand liras. This decline in the gold price, which closed at 2 million 439 thousand liras on Friday, drew attention.
In the KMKTP, the total transaction volume for gold was 3 billion 996 million 540 thousand 516.56 liras, and the transaction amount was 1,650.30 kilograms.
The total transaction volume for all metals reached the level of 4 billion 166 million 740 thousand 93 liras.
The institutions that conducted the most transactions in the gold exchange today were, in order, Kuveyt Türk Katılım Bankası, Ziraat Bankası, Ahlatcı Metal Rafineri, Garanti BBVA, and Istanbul Gold Refinery.
