Promised to be free at opening, toll hiked for the third time in 10 months
The Göcek Tunnel in Muğla, which the public has dubbed the "Deli Dumrul Tunnel," has seen its third toll hike in 2024. The toll for the tunnel connecting Fethiye and Dalaman has been increased from 35 TL to 41 TL for class-one vehicles.
The toll for the 950-meter Göcek Tunnel in Muğla, which connects the Fethiye and Dalaman districts and was opened with the promise that it would be free, has been increased. The toll for class-one (passenger car) vehicles has risen from 35 TL to 41 TL.
The first news of a price hike for the Göcek Tunnel came on January 7, 2024. On that date, the toll for class-one vehicles (passenger cars) was increased from 15 TL to 25 TL, while reports on May 15, 2024, indicated that the toll for class-one vehicles (passenger cars) had risen from 25 TL to 35 TL.
With this third increase within the year, the tunnel's toll has been raised from 35 TL to 41 TL. This marks the third time the toll for the tunnel has been increased in 2024.
