Putin makes statement on gas hub in Turkey
Putin announced that they continue to effectively supply natural gas to Turkey via TurkStream and Blue Stream, and that the infrastructure could be expanded in the future.
Putin made the remarks at the main session of the Russian Energy Week held in Moscow, the capital of Russia. Speaking about the natural gas hub planned to be established in Turkey, Putin said that Azerbaijan is also interested in the project.
ELECTRONIC INFRASTRUCTURE TO BE ADDED FOR NATURAL GAS TRADE
Noting that they expect other countries to join the project as work progresses, Putin said, "We are primarily talking about creating an electronic platform for natural gas trade aimed at the European continent. Our Turkish friends, we, and everyone in Europe who wants to purchase Russian resources are interested in this project."
Putin stated that they continue to effectively supply natural gas to Turkey via TurkStream and Blue Stream, and that the infrastructure in question could be expanded in the future.
