Record decline in KKM
A record decline of 74.6 billion TL was observed in currency-protected deposit accounts last week. Thus, the decline in KKM has entered its 7th week.
The downward trend in currency-protected deposits continues.
According to data from the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK), currency-protected deposits recorded a record decline of 74.6 billion TL in the week of October 6.
In the same week, the total volume of currency-protected deposits fell to 3.23 trillion TL.
When viewed in dollar terms, a volume of 117.3 billion dollars was recorded.
