Service inflation in Japan hits highest level in October
Service inflation in Japan reached its highest level in 45 months in October.
Japan's service inflation rate reached its highest level in 45 months in October, climbing to 2.3% compared to the revised 2% recorded last month.
Service inflation last reached this level in January 2020, when it was also recorded at 2.3%.
Last week, headline inflation in Japan rose to 3.3%, while core inflation, which excludes fresh food prices, stood at 3%.
