Chief SGK Expert İsa Karakaş made the following statements regarding the interim raise expected to be implemented in July.

Speaking to TGRT Haber, Karakaş said he expects a raise to be granted to minimum wage earners in September as well. He calculated the expected raise amount for the wage to be 4,000 TL.

The raise to be implemented will be an important support for the cost of living for citizens who survive on the minimum wage. Minimum wage earners struggling to make ends meet are negatively affected by price increases in food, rent, and other basic needs.
