In the statement, MAHB Acting CEO Mohamed Rastam Shahrom noted that Soğukpınar's appointment marks the beginning of the strategic cooperation between Malaysia Airports and IC Holding.

SOĞUKPINAR PLAYED AN ACTIVE ROLE IN MANY AIRPORT PROJECTS

Soğukpınar, who gained leadership experience by serving in various positions for over 20 years at Ankara Esenboğa Airport and Antalya Airport, further increased his experience in the aviation sector by serving as CEO at Antalya Airport from 2015 to 2019.

Having been involved in numerous important projects during his tenure at IC Holding, Soğukpınar also contributed to the construction of the İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport international terminal, the second runway and international terminal at Antalya Airport, and the Ordu-Giresun Airport.

Soğukpınar currently serves as the Head of the Transportation and Infrastructure Group at IC Holding, which manages critical infrastructure companies including the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge and Northern Ring Motorway Operation, Sakarya Karasu Port Investment and Operation, Northern Aegean Motorway Operation, and Istanbul Logistics Park Investment and Operation.
