Short selling ban on four stocks
Borsa Istanbul has announced that short selling and margin trading measures have been imposed on the shares of four stocks for a period of one month.
In a statement made by Borsa Istanbul to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was stated that, in accordance with the decision of the Capital Markets Board (SPK), a ban on short selling and margin trading has been imposed on the shares of four stocks until the end of the session on November 29, 2023, within the scope of the Volatility Based Measures System (VBTS).
The statement included the following: "In accordance with the decision of the Capital Markets Board, within the scope of the Volatility Based Measures System (VBTS), the shares of CRFSA.E, DITAS.E, KRGYO.E, and YAPRK.E will not be subject to short selling and margin trading from the transactions dated 31/10/2023 (beginning of the session) to the transactions dated 29/11/2023 (end of the session)."
