Silver price hits 11-year high!
The price of silver per ounce rose by 2.4 percent today, surpassing 30 dollars and reaching an 11-year high. The price of gold per ounce also saw a 1 percent increase today, reaching 2,405 dollars.
Silver price rose by 2.4 percent today, surpassing 30.437 dollars per ounce and reaching its highest level in over 11 years.
Silver has gained 28 percent since the beginning of the year, outperforming gold and becoming one of the best-performing major commodities of the year.
GOLD IS ON THE RISE
Gold, another key commodity, turned upward after markets reassessed the interest rate path following hawkish rhetoric from Federal Reserve (Fed) officials. Gold is heading for its second consecutive weekly gain as markets have increased their expectations for interest rate cuts in recent weeks.
Spot gold rose 1 percent on the final trading day of the week to reach 2,405 dollars. The price of gram gold also reached 2,490 TL today.
