SPK approves capital increases for 2 companies, blocks access to 34 websites
The Capital Markets Board (SPK) has approved the bonus capital increase applications of Anadolu Efes and Polisan Holding, while authorizing the issuance of debt instruments totaling 25.9 billion liras for 9 companies, including Turkcell and Aztek Teknoloji. Additionally, legal proceedings have been initiated to block access to 34 websites identified as offering leveraged trading services based abroad.
The Capital Markets Board (SPK) announced significant financial decisions in its weekly bulletin. The Board approved the bonus capital increase applications of Anadolu Efes Biracılık ve Malt Sanayii AŞ for 5 billion 329 million liras and Polisan Holding AŞ for 3 billion 16.3 million liras.
Furthermore, the SPK gave the green light to applications from nine different companies for the issuance of debt instruments totaling approximately 25.9 billion liras. In this context;
-Turkcell İletişim Hizmetleri AŞ for 10 billion liras,
-Derlüks Yatırım Holding AŞ for 1 billion liras,
-Alves Kablo Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ for 2 billion liras,
-TEB Finansman AŞ for 1 billion 700 million liras,
-Turknet İletişim Hizmetleri AŞ for 1 billion liras,
-Pınar Entegre Et ve Un Sanayii AŞ for 2 billion liras,
-Fiba Faktoring AŞ for 1 billion 116 million liras,
-Atılım Faktoring AŞ for 166 million liras,
-Aztek Teknoloji Ürünleri Ticaret AŞ for 4 billion liras in debt instrument issuance requests were approved.
ACCESS BLOCKED TO 34 WEBSITES
On the other hand, the Board decided to initiate legal proceedings to block access to 34 websites identified as offering leveraged trading services from abroad to investors residing in Turkey via the internet.
