SPK blocks access to 63 websites
The Capital Markets Board (SPK) has approved the capital increase applications of 3 companies. Meanwhile, access to 63 websites identified as facilitating leveraged trading from abroad has been blocked.
According to the SPK bulletin, the board approved the bonus capital increase applications of Ayes Çelik Hasır ve Çit Sanayi AŞ for 119 million 943 thousand 600 liras, Gersan Elektrik Ticaret ve Sanayi AŞ for 160 million liras, and Özerden Ambalaj Sanayi AŞ for 52 million 500 thousand liras.
The board approved the debt instrument issuance applications of Global Yatırım Holding AŞ for 2 billion liras, Dünya Varlık Yönetim AŞ for 4 billion 900 million liras, Marka Mağazacılık AŞ for 1 billion 900 million liras, Erciyas Çelik Boru Sanayi AŞ for 1 billion liras, Tekfen Holding AŞ for 500 million liras, Destek Yatırım Bankası AŞ for 43 million dollars, and Rönesans Holding AŞ for 500 million dollars.
Additionally, it was decided to approve the lease certificate issuance based on a management agreement by ZKB Varlık Kiralama AŞ for 2 billion 500 million liras and the asset-backed securities issuance by Pasha Yatırım Bankası AŞ Tarfin Varlık Finansmanı Fonu for 1 billion liras.
CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS AND ADMINISTRATIVE FINES
Following an investigation into Güney Bağımsız Denetim ve Serbest Muhasebeci Mali Müşavirlik AŞ, the board imposed a fine on the company and decided to file criminal complaints against 3 individuals for "engaging in unauthorized capital market activities" and "aiding and abetting the crime of unauthorized capital market activities by allowing the use of bank accounts."
On the other hand, the SPK decided to initiate the necessary legal procedures to block access to 63 websites identified as facilitating leveraged trading from abroad for individuals residing in Turkey.
