Statement on 'minimum wage' from Vedat Işıkhan

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan made statements regarding the current agenda.

Speaking about the Newborn Gang that has shaken Turkey, Işıkhan announced that the contracts of 2 hospitals have been terminated and payments to the hospitals involved in the incident have been cut off.

Vedat Işıkhan said, "We are collecting the payments made to private hospitals, retroactively with interest, along with the penalties within the scope of the contract."

In his speech, Işıkhan called on citizens to file their complaints regarding the problems they experience through CIMER, stating, "This inhumane incident occurred upon a complaint received by CIMER. This was made possible by the follow-up of our citizens. No one should doubt that all criminals will receive the harshest punishment they deserve."

MINIMUM WAGE STATEMENT

Minister Işıkhan said regarding the raise to be made to the minimum wage in 2025, "I hope it will be determined at a level that will improve living standards without harming the general stability and structure of our economy."

Minister of Labor and Social Security Işıkhan stated, "Just as our Ministry of Finance shares information, we will also share the companies with the highest premium debts with the public."
