Stock market gains value in the first half of the day (18.04.2024)

The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul rose by 33.80 points to 9,564.26 points as of 1:00 PM compared to the previous close.

The BIST 100 index, which closed at 9,530.47 points yesterday, started the day at 9,564.85 points with an increase of 34.38 points and 0.36 percent.

During the first half of the day, the index saw a low of 9,508.15 points and a high of 9,601.56 points.

In the first half of the day, the financial index gained 0.59 percent and the industrial index gained 0.38 percent, while the technology index fell by 0.11 percent and the services index fell by 0.08 percent.

Compared to the previous close, 54 of the stocks included in the BIST 100 index rose in the first half of the day, while 45 lost value. The most actively traded stocks were Türk Hava Yolları, Yapı ve Kredi Bankası, Akbank, Pegasus, and Türkiye İş Bankası (C).
