Stock market opens with gains (05.06.2024)
The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul opened the day with a 0.37 percent increase at 10,403.23 points. The highest gain was in the banking index with 0.69 percent.
At the opening, the BIST 100 index rose by 38.67 points and 0.37 percent compared to the previous close, reaching 10,403.23 points.
The banking index recorded a 0.69 percent increase, and the holding index rose by 0.45 percent. Among sector indices, the top gainer was information technology with 2.28 percent, while the top loser was forestry, paper, and printing with 0.10 percent.
Yesterday, following a bearish trend, the BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul closed the day with a 1.82 percent decline at 10,364.56 points.
