The stock market remained flat in the first half of the day.

As of 13:00, the index rose by 1.57 points and 0.02 percent compared to the previous close, reaching 10,160.20 points. The BIST 100 index, which closed at 10,158.63 points yesterday, opened at 10,189.06 points, up by 30.43 points and 0.30 percent.

During the first half of the day, the index saw a low of 10,145.13 points and a high of 10,254.20 points.

In the first half of the day, the technology index gained 1.59 percent and the industrial index gained 0.33 percent, while the financial index fell by 0.20 percent and the services index by 0.15 percent.

Compared to the previous close, 63 of the stocks included in the BIST 100 index rose, while 33 lost value. The most actively traded stocks were Turkish Airlines, Türkiye İş Bankası (C), Yapı ve Kredi Bankası, Tüpraş, and Sasa Polyester.

GOLD OUNCE PRICE AT 2 THOUSAND 385 DOLLARS

In international markets, as of 13:00, the euro/dollar parity is at 1.0870, the sterling/dollar parity is at 1.2670, and the dollar/yen parity is at 154.60.

In the Istanbul free market, the dollar is being sold at 32.2280 liras and the euro at 35.1320 liras.

The ounce of gold is trading at 2 thousand 385 dollars with a flat trend in international markets, while a barrel of London Brent crude oil is trading at 82.2 dollars, down by 0.6 percent.
