The stock market rose in the first half of the day.

As of 13:00, the index increased by 29.42 points and 0.27 percent compared to the previous close, reaching 10,924.67 points. The BIST 100 index, which closed at 10,895.25 points yesterday, started the day at 10,930.39 points, up by 35.13 points and 0.32 percent.

During the first half of the day, the index saw a low of 10,875.99 points and a high of 11,024.52 points.

In the first half of the day, the technology index gained 1.20 percent, the industrial index 0.89 percent, and the services index 0.54 percent, while the financial index lost 0.33 percent in value.

Compared to the previous close, 74 of the stocks included in the BIST 100 index rose, while 25 lost value. The most actively traded stocks were Yapı ve Kredi Bankası, Akbank, Ereğli Demir Çelik, Türkiye İş Bankası (C), and Türk Hava Yolları.

GOLD OUNCE PRICE AT 2,419 DOLLARS

In international markets, as of 13:00, the euro/dollar parity is at 1.0850, the sterling/dollar parity is at 1.2730, and the dollar/yen parity is at 156.40.

In the Istanbul free market, the dollar is being sold at 32.1900 Turkish liras, and the euro at 34.9070 Turkish liras.

The ounce of gold is trading at 2,419 dollars in international markets with a 0.1 percent decline, while a barrel of London Brent crude oil is trading at 82 dollars with a 0.5 percent decrease.
