Stock market rose by 6 points in the first half of the day
The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul gained 0.07 percent in the first half of the day, rising to 9,138.05 points.
Moving with an upward trend in the first half of the day, the BIST 100 index rose by 6.23 points to 9,138.05 points as of 13:00, compared to the previous close. The total trading volume was 44.5 billion liras.
While the banking index gained 2.55 percent, the holding index lost 0.08 percent.
Among the sector indices, the biggest gainer was sports with 2.69 percent, while the biggest loser was mining with 2.27 percent.
