Stock market rose in the first half of the day

The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul increased by 146.97 points as of 13:00 compared to the previous close.

The BIST 100 index, which closed at 9,250.36 points on Friday, started the day at 9,322.05 points with an increase of 71.69 points and 0.77 percent.

In the first half of the day, the index saw a low of 9,320.92 points and a record high of 9,404.11 points.

In the first half of the day, the services index rose by 0.72 percent, the financial index by 1.69 percent, the technology index by 1.58 percent, and the industrial index by 1.33 percent.

Compared to the previous close, 70 of the stocks included in the BIST 100 index gained value in the first half of the day, while 30 lost value. The most actively traded stocks were Tüpraş, Turkish Airlines, Ereğli Demir Çelik, Türkiye İş Bankası (C), and Yapı ve Kredi Bankası.

In the Istanbul free market, the dollar is being sold at 30.8690 liras and the euro at 33.2570 liras.

An ounce of gold is trading at 2,020 dollars with a 0.4 percent increase in international markets, while a barrel of Brent crude oil is trading at 82.2 dollars with a 0.7 percent decrease.
