Stock market starts the day with gains, reaching 10,358 points
The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul started the day with a 0.21 percent increase, reaching 10,358.10 points.
At the opening, the BIST 100 index rose by 21.60 points, or 0.21 percent, compared to the previous close, reaching 10,358.10 points.
The banking index recorded a 0.19 percent increase, while the holding index rose by 0.34 percent. Among sector indices, construction was the top gainer with 0.88 percent, while sports was the top loser with 2.36 percent.
The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul closed yesterday at a record high of 10,336.50 points, up 0.68 percent, and reached an intraday record high of 10,375.74 points.
