Tax statement from Minister Şimşek: 'All segments that do not pay their taxes...'
Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek made statements regarding the inspections ongoing in 29 provinces. Şimşek said, "To protect the rights of those who pay their taxes, we will continue to resolutely pursue all segments that earn income but do not pay their taxes."
In the inspections conducted by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance on 17 thousand 258 companies across 29 provinces, 53 million lira in penalties for abuse were issued and tax audits were initiated.
While unregistered activities in the furniture sector are also being examined, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek made statements on X.

In his post, Şimşek stated the following:
"By reducing informality through intensive field inspections, we are strengthening justice in taxation and preventing unfair gains.
To protect the rights of those who pay their taxes, we will continue to resolutely pursue all segments that earn income but do not pay their taxes!"
