Taxi fare hike in Ankara
Taxi meter rates have been updated in Ankara. The minimum fare for short trips has increased from 50 liras to 75 liras. The per-kilometer rate has been raised by approximately 30 percent.
As of Friday, January 19, taxi meter rates have been updated in Ankara.
According to the report by Deniz Dalgıç from Elips Haber, with the 30 percent hike in taxi meter rates, the short-distance minimum fare in the capital has increased from 50 liras to 75 liras. While the per-kilometer rate has risen from 15 liras to 20 liras, the taxi flag-fall rate has been increased from 18 liras to 25 liras.
