The most moved-into districts of Istanbul and Ankara have been identified
A real estate company has shared moving rates in Istanbul and Ankara. According to the data, Ümraniye and Küçükçekmece were the districts with the highest moving activity in Istanbul.
According to the moving mobility report prepared in collaboration with real estate information and analytics company REIDIN and Enakliyat, the Istanbul Moving Index increased by 10.40 percent in the third quarter of 2023 compared to the previous quarter, and by 90.65 percent compared to the same period in 2022. The index reached its highest value in the last two years in the third quarter, at 73.0. According to the index, Küçükçekmece was the district with the most moves at 6.81 percent, the most active at 7.27 percent, and the most preferred at 6.99 percent in Istanbul. In the moving category, the district was followed by Ümraniye with 6.35 percent, Esenyurt with 4.50 percent, Pendik with 4.45 percent, and Maltepe with 4.35 percent. Among the most preferred districts were Ümraniye, Üsküdar, Kadıköy, and Pendik.
THE MOST MOVED-INTO DISTRICT HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED
Atakent Neighborhood in Küçükçekmece became the neighborhood with the most moves, the most activity, and the highest preference in Istanbul. In Ankara, the Eryaman Neighborhood of Etimesgut earned the title of the neighborhood with the most moves. REIDIN Data Research Manager Burcu Köksal stated, “The report reveals that moving mobility in Istanbul and Ankara continues to accelerate. In Istanbul, Küçükçekmece and Ümraniye stand out as the districts with the most moves.”
ETİMESGUT LEADS IN ANKARA
The Ankara Moving Index rose by 28.83 percent in the third quarter of the year and by 11.71 percent compared to the same period last year. The period in which the index reached its highest value in the last two years was the third quarter of this year, with a value of 126. According to the report, the Çankaya district of Ankara was the most moved-into district with 24.24 percent, the most active with 25.25 percent, and the most preferred with 22.36 percent. In the category of districts with the most moves, the district was followed by Etimesgut with 16.08 percent, Yenimahalle with 14.45 percent, Mamak with 10.72 percent, and Keçiören with 10.26 percent.
