The week's top-performing investment vehicles have been announced

Stocks traded on Borsa Istanbul fell by an average of 0.99 percent and the euro/TL rate decreased by 0.51 percent on a weekly basis, while the gram price of gold rose by 1.57 percent and the dollar/TL rate increased by 0.47 percent.

The week's top-performing investment vehicles have been announced

The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul fluctuated between 9,962.56 and 10,180.41 points throughout the week. The index closed the week at 10,004.38 points, marking a 0.99 percent decline compared to the previous week.

In the Grand Bazaar, the gram selling price of 24-karat gold bullion rose by 1.57 percent to 3,236 liras, while the Republic gold coin traded at 21,931 liras, an increase of 1.55 percent. Quarter gold, which was sold for 5,337 liras last week, rose by 1.56 percent to 5,420 liras this week.

In the foreign exchange market, the US dollar gained 0.47 percent in value to reach 35.8580 liras, while the euro fell by 0.51 percent to 37.2210 liras.

Looking at investment vehicles, investment funds rose by 0.06 percent and pension funds by 0.48 percent on a weekly basis. Within the investment funds category, the group that provided the highest return was "debt instruments" funds with an increase of 1.07 percent.
