According to reports in pro-government media, the pension amount has been determined.

It is projected that the lowest pension will be raised above the 10 thousand TL band to 12 thousand 500 TL within the scope of the inflation adjustment.

In this context, the base pension, which is the basis for the salary increase, will be increased by the inflation rate. 

Thus, the base pension will be increased by 25 percent to improve the economic conditions of citizens whose salaries remain low. For the necessary legal regulation to be submitted to the Speaker of the Parliament, the six-month inflation difference is expected to be announced in the first week of July.

The difference arising from the fact that salary increases are applied to base pensions is covered by the Treasury. Thus, Treasury support is provided so that the lowest pension of 10 thousand liras can be paid to 7 million people who retired in or after 2000 and receive base pensions ranging between 5 thousand 500 TL and 8 thousand TL.

It was stated that there is a consensus that no salary increases can be made outside of the inflation adjustment, but that the lowest pension cannot be kept at the 10 thousand TL band.

Additionally, it was reported that the base salary limit will be raised so that citizens with a base pension of 8 thousand TL and below can benefit from the raise.
