Insurance registration can be created via E-Devlet by selecting the 4B Optional Insurance option. A person can become insured by making payments based on a premium amount they determine themselves. Here are the details on the right to SGK retirement and benefiting from health services without working.
THE RIGHT TO RETIRE WITHOUT WORKING
To retire without working, it is sufficient to have turned 18 and reside in Turkey. Additionally, the person must not have any mandatory SGK insurance.
Individuals who meet these conditions can earn the right to retirement by paying their own premiums. Moreover, even those who pay only one month of premiums can benefit from all health services for themselves, their spouses, and their children.
In this way, non-working individuals both gain social security and can earn the right to retirement.
Those who pay premiums in this system will receive a retirement pension based on the amount they have paid. The daily and monthly premium amounts are as follows:
Lowest premium payment: 277 TL daily, 8,321 TL monthly.
Highest premium payment: 2,080 TL daily, 62,413 TL monthly.
EARNING THE RIGHT TO RETIREMENT BY PAYING FOR 25 YEARS
According to the news on TGRT, SGK Chief Expert İsa Karakaş stated that those who pay these premiums will earn the right to retirement by making payments for 25 years.
Those who dream of retiring without working are pleased with the regulation. However, those who have retired after working for years think that this system is not fair.
