Top gainers and losers on the stock market revealed

In a week where selling pressure became evident on Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index recorded a decline of 2.68 percent. While gold retreated, foreign exchange rates showed limited gains. Ral Yatırım Holding was the week's top gainer, while Reeder Teknoloji experienced the sharpest loss.

Top gainers and losers on the stock market revealed

The performance of investment instruments took different directions this week. While Borsa Istanbul and gold lost value, foreign exchange rates finished the week with limited gains.

The BIST 100 index fell by 2.68 percent on a weekly basis to 12,698.19 points. During the week, the index tested a low of 12,601.60 and a high of 13,168.16 points.

GENERAL WEAKNESS IN SECTOR INDICES

A downward trend was prominent in sector indices throughout the week. The financial index fell by 1.63 percent to 17,723.75 points, and the services index declined by 1.06 percent to 11,762.06 points.

While the industrial index decreased by 2.86 percent to 15,984.69 points, the technology index also retreated by 1.97 percent to 39,720.98 points.

TOP GAINING STOCKS

The week's top gainer was Ral Yatırım Holding (RALYH) with an increase of 52.69 percent, reaching a share price of 213 TL.

Ral Yatırım Holding was followed by Tekfen Holding (TKFEN), which rose by 22.97 percent. The company's shares closed the week at 97.70 TL.

In third place was Astor Enerji (ASTOR), which gained 9.93 percent in value. Its share price was recorded at 205.90 TL.

TOP LOSING STOCKS

The sharpest decline of the week was seen in Reeder Teknoloji (REEDR) shares, with a loss of 20.04 percent. The share price fell to 7.14 TL.

Reeder Teknoloji was followed by Efor Yatırım (EFOR), which experienced a 18.26 percent drop. The company's shares fell to 9.22 TL.

Türkiye Anadolu Metal Madencilik İşletmeleri (TRMET) fell to 120.30 TL with a loss of 16.57 percent.

COMPANIES WITH THE HIGHEST MARKET VALUE

In the market value rankings, ASELSAN took the top spot with 1 trillion 508 billion lira. Enka İnşaat with 554.7 billion lira and Garanti BBVA with 531.3 billion lira in market value were positioned at the top.
