Trustee appointed to Tatbak after Zeki Doruk accused of causing financial loss

Due to disputes between the major partner Zeki Doruk and the other partner İsa Albayrak at the Tatbak group companies, which own some of Turkey's leading food production factories, İsa Albayrak has filed commercial lawsuits at the Istanbul Anatolian Courthouse to exit the companies and receive his partnership share.

According to a report by Cumhuriyet, a sworn financial advisor's report submitted to the case file included findings that Chairman of the Board Zeki Doruk had acquired irregular personal assets and caused financial loss to the company.

İsa Albayrak, through his lawyer Efe Murat Bulut, requested the appointment of a trustee to the companies.

In its assessment, the court stated that Zeki Doruk had caused financial loss to the company and decided to appoint a trustee. It was determined that Tatbak also sells products in Hakmar markets, and that Tatbak companies are among the same group of companies as the discount market chain Hakmar.

According to the announcement published in the Trade Registry Gazette, all decisions and disposal transactions regarding the company by Zeki Doruk, who is the chairman of the board of Tatbak Gıda and Tatbak Mağazacılık, including disposing of company assets, withdrawing money from company bank accounts, issuing exchange documents, and making expenditures on behalf of the company, have been made subject to the approval of the trustee.
