TÜİK announces February inflation figures

According to TÜİK data, inflation increased by 4.53 percent monthly in February, reaching 67.07 percent on an annual basis.

The main group that showed the lowest increase compared to the same month of the previous year was clothing and footwear at 43.44%.
Conversely, the main group with the highest increase compared to the same month of the previous year was restaurants and hotels at 94.78%.
SURPASSED ENAG ON A MONTHLY BASIS FOR THE FIRST TIME
The inflation data announced by TÜİK exceeded ENAG's figures for the first time.
ENAG had announced the February inflation figure as 4.32 percent. In contrast, TÜİK announced it as 4.53 percent.
