Turkey's inflation for January 2024 has been announced. According to TÜİK data, inflation increased by 6.70 percent monthly in January, reaching 64.86 percent on an annual basis.

According to TÜİK data, inflation increased by 6.70 percent monthly in January, reaching 64.86 percent on an annual basis.

In terms of main expenditure groups, the main group that showed the least increase in January 2024 compared to the previous month was clothing and footwear at -1.61 percent. Conversely, the main group with the highest increase in January 2024 compared to the previous month was health at 17.68 percent.
Furthermore, inflation exceeded the 6.50 percent expectation.
