TÜİK announces unemployment rate for October
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has announced the labor force data for October 2024. The number of unemployed persons increased by 61 thousand compared to the previous month, reaching 3 million 175 thousand, while the unemployment rate rose by 0.1 percentage points to 8.8 percent. The unemployment rate was determined to be 6.9 percent for men and 12.3 percent for women.
