TÜİK to announce tomorrow: Economists' November inflation forecast revealed

November inflation data will be announced on Monday, December 4, at 10:00.

Markets have turned their attention to the critical Consumer Price Index (CPI) data to be announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK).

CPI EXPECTED TO RISE

The CPI is expected to rise in November due to the impact of increasing food and service prices, as well as increased natural gas consumption.

INCREASE IN ANNUAL INFLATION FORECAST

Economists' inflation expectations have been revealed.

According to the expectation survey conducted by AA Finans with 15 economists, it is estimated that the CPI will increase by 3.68 percent in November.

The inflation expectations of the economists participating in the survey for November ranged from a low of 3 percent to a high of 4.60 percent.

Based on the average of economists' November inflation expectations, annual inflation, which was 61.36 percent the previous month, is calculated to rise to 62.61 percent.

INFLATION INCREASED BY 3.43 PERCENT IN OCTOBER

In the survey conducted by Reuters with 11 participants, it is expected that the CPI will increase by 3.9 percent monthly in November, and the annual CPI will record a limited increase to reach 63 percent.

For November, annual inflation forecasts range between 61.6 percent and 64.1 percent.

While monthly inflation estimates are in the 3 percent to 4.6 percent band, economists stated that in addition to food prices, residential natural gas usage will also affect the CPI.

Inflation increased by 3.43 percent in October, and was calculated at 61.36 percent annually.
