Turkey and Iran sign 10 new agreements

AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan met with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, who is on an official visit to Turkey, at the Presidential Complex.

Following the 8th Meeting of the Turkey-Iran High-Level Cooperation Council, which was held with the participation of delegations from both countries, the signing ceremony for various agreements took place.

10 new agreements were signed aimed at developing relations between Turkey and Iran.

10 AGREEMENTS SIGNED

In the presence of Erdoğan and Raisi, 10 agreements were signed between the countries. The signed agreements are as follows:

Operational Agreement between the Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEİAŞ) and the Iran Grid Management Company (IGMC)

Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Free Zones between the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey and the High Council of Free Trade, Industrial and Special Economic Zones of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Media and Communication between the Directorate of Communications of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey and the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of the Presidency of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Framework Agreement on Railway Transportation between the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Turkey and the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Memorandum of Understanding on Scientific, Industrial and Technological Cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey and the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology of Iran

Declaration of Intent on Cooperation regarding the 2025 Mutual Cultural Year between the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey and the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of the Islamic Republic of Iran
