Turkish Airlines (THY) has announced in a filing to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that a decision has been made to establish a new company.
Turkish Airlines (THY), in a statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), announced that it will establish a new company to manage its sports club activities more effectively.
According to the notification sent to KAP, the new company, which will be wholly owned by Turkish Airlines, will operate within the provincial borders of Istanbul under the name "THY Spor A.Ş." or another trade name to be determined. The company will be established as a joint-stock company with a cash capital of 1,000,000 TL.
This step aims to strengthen the company's presence in the field of sports and achieve a competitive position. It is anticipated that Turkish Airlines' sports activities will further expand and develop.
